Another media fast. Just like the wise earthyogi recommends. I recently and very impulsively friended Tim Miller on FB. I consider him kind of a holy man because A) he put me in Mari A at 172 lbs. for the very first time. And B) he made me cry the ugly cry while he sang the Chalisa. So his first appearance on my feed is about weird stuff that happens on Tuesdays followed by another one yesterday about Mercury being in retrograde. I don’t think he is wrong OR kidding. I’m spending my last summer weekend in Maine, trying to outfox a possible Nor’easter. My oil tank cracked, My 90 year old aunt had a medical emergency and instead of calling me (I’m just over the NY border in CT), She calls her cousin in Bogota, then My dad in Miami. Because she thought I’d be upset because she did not call 911 right away (duh). Then today I read on the Huffpo that someone made a musical about 9/11. I got mad, made a snarky comment and started crying. After that I went to the comedy section of the same website and found Sara Haskins to listen to. I’m sharing below: Soberingly Hilarious. I’m glad I was enough of a groupie to friend Tim Miller. I feel He’ll always give me a heads up.
